Prisoner bay

The pipeline program got to be on the island of Prisoner’s Bay. I have never been to a beautiful place like Santa Cruz island at the Channel Islands national parks in Santa Barbara. In majority of the classes we learned about climate changes, and new of how to prevent useful things going to waste. For example, using less water, not wasting food, riding your bike/carpool, and recycle. We got to kayak again but with a beautiful view and clear water. The feeling of the waves made me feel safe and secure. We saw a video about the island and informed us about the wild life and history of the island which was that there were seals, bat rays, and history with the Chumash tribe. With our knowledge we will have power to make a difference on the world.

The hike

This hole time right now I don’t think that we’re on an island. I feel like we’re back on regular land where there is unlimited space. But this island feels like there is unlimited space but there isnt. Also the hike was brutality long so consider that my workout.

Hollywood

In Hollywood, I only visited the Chinese theater and the house of wax. Today I got to visit the local shops around the Hollywood Blvd strips and bought some cloths to take home.  The pipeline also talked to us about doing the sweat lodge tomorrow. I don’t know what to expect but I’m going in with an open mind.

Shakespeare

One of the classes was talking about Shakespeare’s sonnets that he wrote. The teacher that was leading that class was hilarious due to his awesome humor. The way he read the sonnet had me engaged in the topic with his animated humor.

Cadavers

It was the second time of seeing the cadavers since last year at Pitzer Pipeline. There were people that were a little nervous of seeing limbs of corpses. When everyone left they were just fine, some people left the cadaver room for a little bit but they came back to participate.

Today was an education, we had a dance that we had to learn that gave me a workout. We also learned how to use a new type of calculator so consider me smart.:)
