Aaron, Addison, Sean Paul, and I had to stay in this small Ap. In the daytime it was awesome because we got to just hang out and play music, but when it was dark we had to sleep with no fire. The big Ap for boys had a fire but we couldn’t have a fire because ours was too small. We didn’t care because we just stayed up for a while and then go to bed whenever we got tired. Event though that small Ap was cold, us four guys really kicked back in there. 

The food from the chumash people was really good. Even though we waked up early, got sunburned and got sand in some sand in our stuff, we were never starving. On the last day the bacon for our breakfast was ready right when we were about to leave. We all just grab a good hand full for our two-hour drive home. Even though none of us had a legit bed, we ate like we were at home. 🙂

Just got back from the chumash people and had a good time. Got to surf for the first time and wiped out.:)

Today at the pipeline, we learned how to make drums, how to make arrows, and importantly how to survive. I feel like I’ve known my new friends forever. We all joke around, laugh together, and help each other out. One of the presenters was a survival expert. He taught us that all of the useful things to keep us alive are all around us on this earth. With that type of knowledge I’ve looked differently on the world now. We are related to the stars and at the same time part of this earth. We came from the stars when we were created as well as the earth. Also in the program, when the group and I go eat another program comes at the same time as we do and they’re from Italy. A lot of the Italians are girls and one of them noticed my long board. She started up a conversation and the rest of the guys said hello as well. Those girls were actually hot and we were tall dark and good-looking natives so the odds were good. So that is why today was a good day and it was worth living.
