The Pitzer program got an experience like no other. Having a chance to be at Santa Cruz for three days was such an amazing experience and I enjoyed it very much. Our first day there we got a good hike up to the cabins and then we learned about the diversity of the Santa Cruz island also the other island. Along with that learning lesson we played a game. The second day was quite wonderful waking up to morning ceremonies was very inspirational and then we had some amazing breakfast. After we had to get ready to go kayaking and snorting which in my opinion was super duper amazing! I kind of had a panic attack when snorting but I enjoyed seeing everyone happy. Third day I was super excited but sad to leave we had four hours to have free time I took the advantage to jump off the peri which was outstanding overall then I took a nice nap. I love it and I love the days!
Freaking out, needles, and fake blood
Well, well today was quite interesting, today we went to Western University or two class lessons. The first class was phlebotomy which if you don’t know that, it is a procedure that removes blood from the body. So of course I freak out because I clearly don’t like to have blood taken out of my body but they showed us the meaning of phlebotomy and then we did a practice on a rubber square that had fake veins. We went through the whole process on learning how to take about blood. Then we learned about ecological toxins mostly about the ocean and how the sea animals get shellfish poisoning, also how humans get sick.

To be or not to be is the question??
Sonnets
Its a rhythm or a rhyme that go together in a small paragraph. Well that’d what I learned today to say so but the Shakespeare class was so interesting and I had some good laughs and so did the class. The sonnets where broken down by each sentence, some where brutality sad or upsetting and some are just really lovey dovey . The professor was quite the comedian, he was a very, very interesting person to have someone to teach us about Shakespeare …Over all it was a very productive day.

Third day and more to come
Its been my third day here and for it being the third day I learned quite a lot. For example, in our Aztec Math class we learned about square roots, division, and decimal place. Since all of us were half asleep the teacher told everyone that we were having class outside, which sparked the class, awakening us, which brought our attention to learn. He also taught us songs with numbers and a dance with it while he was playing music, we started singing or at least trying. It made the class very fun and enjoyable to take part of.

Personal Legend
Throughout the day it was quite interesting, until we got to the end of the day after dinner we had 20 minutes of free time after that we went into a classroom. The movie that we where going to watch was Hawaii: The legend of Eddie Aikau. It showed me a lot it was a quite touching story that had so much meaning and it gave me an idea that your spirit is something to cherish. No matter what you do never give up and if you believe in something make it happen. At the end Eddie had a great heart and was appreciated by everyone for who he was as a person. He had his own personal legend that one day, I need to find mine.
