Hello All,

My name is Edgar Morelos, and I will be one of the mentors for this summer’s program.I recently graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a bachelors degree in Latin American Studies.

I am really excited to be a part of this program and the opportunity to get to know the students and other mentors.

I little about me, I am the oldest child in a family of 6 and first in my family to both attend and graduate from college. I was born in a small town near Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico but was forced to migrate to the states at the age of twelve. Since then, I have been living and working in the City of Pomona, CA. My hobbies include organizing with the community, talking politics, hiking, and playing basketball with friends.

Lastly, I look forward to meeting y’all soon and hope you are having a great summer break!
