One Mind – Connectedness

Every time I sing the sunrise ceremony song, I think of all of you and it makes the energy stronger. Its like I envision everyone in the morning ceremony with our hands up 🙌 towards the Sun 🌞 receiving the energy with our hearts… It’s powerful. 👍

Already missing the students

Today I woke up thinking I was at Wishtoyo Village, but I was at home in my room. Last night, after the gradation ceremony, the drive back to Pitzer was really interesting and weird because of all the unexpected delays that happened lol. On the way home, I was thinking a lot about the Pipeline students running around, laughing, and singing. I feel like I did not really get a chance to properly say goodbye. I’ve never gotten so many hugs before. It really brought a lot of great energy.  Thank you Pipeline students for your positive vibes and teachings. I’m using my tablet to post this blog…thank you Chumash Elder Adelna. To all, continue the ceremony and prayers, and don’t forget about what you learned at Pitzer, Western U, Wishtoyo, and Limuw…the teachings, history, education, and Consciousness…  Share what you learned! Because the teachings belong to the people.

P.S.    it’s in the marshmallows!

Hello my Pitzer Family!!

this is Alejandro and i miss you all.. i really miss the dinning hall lol… Well as you all know… the Pipeline in coming soon only 11 months to go and it is on again…indigenous movement will never die and the Pipeline is forever.. I’m getting ready to go back to school now, and i know that most of you already started school. well good luck in school and i hope you guys have an awesome year. i can’t wait to reunite with all of you.

The Pipeline is a connection.

It has now been a week since the Pipeline ended and that special spiritual vibe is slowly fading away.. i am distracted by non-indigenous people and their American way of thinking, and i find it difficult to connect……The Pipeline was more than just a program, it was something very special to me. It was an amazing spiritual connection to the culture, our ancestors, and the Earth…. i need my Pipeline family..  i really miss all of you guys, the students, the staff, the Pitzer campus, and Gina and Jacky, and even the dinning hall and the workers. As i resume life in the real world, i can’t help but to think how easy it is to get sucked into a life without meaning.. but i will stay strong, for my people, for the culture, for my ancestors, and for you Pipeline student activists, because i will never forget how smart and intelligent you are.. and i know you will definitely make a difference.. don’t ever forget about the Pipeline…  thank you Scott, …  Tlazocamatli Ometeot. Nican-Tlaca Tlahui….

The Connection…

Choices are made constantly throughout our lives. Some believe that every choice you make can influence your life in different ways. I believe that no matter what choices we make we always end up where we were supposed to be. It is because we are all connected…….    Connected to our path, to each other, it is the circle of life which guides us and gives us direction as we travel the universe and reach our destiny.
