today was really fun and chill. we did the games this morning and that was really fun because we learned how to disarm a weapon from someone. we did some writing today and i felt like i did really good on the writing. the math we had today was really fun too. we learned about Roman numerals in the other math class we had today. i would have to say the mentors have been so much of an inspirational mentor. they have done so much for u and keeping us safe. they make sure we are learning and stay on task. so thank you to all of the mentors.
Indigenous Games- Isaac.
this morning was really fun. we go to play something like capture the flag, which was really fun. we all had dun and got us to wake up and feel really a wake. i want to learn more about the game. i hope i can play it again because it feels really good to learn about different cultures and games.
wishtoyo- Isaac
Wishtoyo was really fun. i have learned a lot from monty. all of the songs he shared with us was really cool. they was a lot of bonding that went on also. everyone got along. later time when we were at wishtoyo, all of the guys had a sweet. the sweet was really need and it was really good. we also got to learn how to surf, which was really fun. that was my first time surfing.
day#5-Isaac
today was fun. The indigenous games. we learned about what the formations are for the capture the flag game that we will be playing tomorrow. i cant wait until we play the capture the flag game tomorrow. another thing that was fun today was making the baskets. i thought it was really calming and it was fun ti make one for my first time.
4th day- Isaac
since we have done the blanket activity i feel like i have gotten closer to everyone because they have trusted me and other with they emotions and what had happened to they in the past. i have not gotten to know everyone in personal level but i am looking into getting to know everyone in a personal level. also another thing that i liked was how we all got together yesterday morning and did the indigenous games. we all encouraged each other and had fun. the pool time we had was fun. when we are in the pool we just hang out with others and have fun. we played marco polo. i tried swimming to the end of the pool. i didn’t make it to the end but i am going to keep trying. today at pool time we played volleyball and that was fun.
Spirit game pride of a nation movie by Isaac
the movie was good. i really liked it. i would like to learn more about the game. i want to play. it looks really fun. the movie was really good. they talked about how they played and how long they played. they have been playing for a while. they ancestors have been playing it since 1890. they used it for medicine, not to be a sport were they just played to hurt people. i would like to get the movie and watch it again.
Isaac’s first day
today was fun. this is my first year here at pizer and it is really fun so far. i want to come here next year and try and encourage other to try this program. i like that everyone is willing and open to tell stuff about their culture. i had fun making the clapper sticks. i like the new people that i had made friends with.
