Today we  sat I the classroom and expanded our education through beginning to learn Mayan math. I got discombobulated half way but I pushed through. We traveled to Western U and it was there where I remembered becoming a doctor is a lot of work. We even played a big old gam3 of Ninja and I learned to basically tight rope walk. Too many things went down today my blog is ginormous.

I really enjoyed the Sundance we learned I can’t wait to learn itnfulky and get better at it. watching the documentary about Eddie Aikau Honestly almost made me cry and now can’t wait to go surfing. I love that I can connect to the Hawaiian culture in some type because I’ve always been interested in that indigenous culture

So today, we did a lot. It was fun, & all of the classes were interesting! Buuuuut, cadavers tomorrow!😁

2nd day in this program it seem to amaze me I love it if I had to do it I again I would its awesome the people are cool love it

Tonatiuh, the father sun was honored today, as should be every day in a circle of native youth. I helped create the beat for the circles’ pasos with hand drums that we all recently created. I am very fortunate to be a part of this program that prepares us for constructing more extinguished goals for our future.

Today was an education, we had a dance that we had to learn that gave me a workout. We also learned how to use a new type of calculator so consider me smart.:)

My name is Thelma. I am Blackfeet and Lummi.

Today has been an invigorating and indigenous day. We started off with a healthy departure from our parents with allowing them to relieve of their worries. We then moved on to exciting ice breakers that gave us the opportunity to laugh and share our experiences. I am an individual that enjoys trying new things or even refreshing my knowledge on experiences that I have focused on in the past. Creating a hand drum with the elders and very knowledgeable and capable drum maker, was a very empowering and connecting experience. I am greatly looking forward to the ceremonies and activities over the period of the next two weeks.
