Welcome to the Pitzer Pipeline Blog 2015!!!!

Hello Everyone!!!!

Welcome back to those of you who were here last year! And to all of the new students – welcome to Pitzer College – we look forward to getting to know you over the next couple of weeks.

With getting to know each other in mind we will start our first blog entries with the following prompts….

1) Tell us a few things that you want us to know about you.  Where you come from,  things you have done,  things you like to do, etc….

2) Tell us why you want to be in Pitzer Pipeline Program – and if you were here last year…what about the program made you want to come back this summer?

3) Reflect on you first day!!!

Blog info/update

Hi All 2014 Pipeline Students and Mentors!

FYI….I just want to let you know that the blog is “moderated” by me to make sure no spammers add comments to your posts.  This means that I have to approve all comments – so some of the comments you post will have a delay before they post cuz I can’t always get to a computer to make updates, but I will make sure to update comments at least once a day.  So please don’t get discouraged if you do not see your comment post immediately. All of your blogs post immediatelythis only applies to comments and replies to posts.

Happy to see all of your first posts – looks like we have a great new group this year!

hope you are having fun and learning lots on your 2nd day!

All the best – Gina

Beautiful Ceremony!

Wow…your graduation ceremony was  beautiful…..you are all amazing….I was truly moved by your songs, your drums and shawls, your powerful words – each of spoke from your heart. We have much to learn from all of you.  It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to work with each of you this summer and I hope you will keep us updated on this blog about your next adventures.  Best wishes to those of you that are starting a new chapter in your education by attending college this fall, may your transition be exciting and without too many bumps….keep us informed!  To the rest….you have an exciting time to dream of the school you will like to attend after high school.

We have uploaded some of the graduation photos to Flicker and there are still more to come so keep checking. And Edwin and I are working on getting the rest of your digital books up on ISSUU as well and I am adding a link to our ISSUU library on the sidebar of the blog.

For now…..safe journey forward to all of you!
