  • Kayaking
  • SPA DAY
  • NETFLIX
  • Plays
  • Concerts
  • Hanging with Friends
  • Movies
  • SHOPPING
  • Lying in bed all day
  • Rock Climbing
  • Surfing
  • Sports
  • Yoga

There are many things to do around campus, on and off. After studying of course… šŸ™‚

The 19th

I choose University of Washington because it’s the first university that came to mind. In the local area of University of Washington a student canĀ participate in Intramural soccer, softball, or tennis for the summer. A way I would relax is just staying home and not doing anything.

Guide to unwinding from college

What I like to do when I am stuck indoors all the time from school is get outside and enjoy nature. Where I go to college there are many outdoor activities that help you relax. Some of my favorite consist of fishing, kayaking, surfing, hiking and camping. When I don’t have enough energy to get out and about I like to read a book, watch some documentaries or work on projects around the house. I have learned that its important to maintain a balance between school and unwinding. Taking care of your mental and physical health are always important.

Cheers!

Enjoying relaxing activities

Pitzer college students like to go bowling and make new friends.

I think that doing things as a group is a lot safer and can be really fun. Whether it’s going to the mall, going to the farmer’s market, or visiting colleges and touring.

My day was very fun. We went to look at the scripts college and hear from Elizabeth on what it is like to go there. Scripts college was founded in 1928 by a rich white lady, and It is an all girls college. The rooms are almost like princess rooms and some of them are really big. The college has gym that is so nice that it looks like a spa, it has a really big pool. walking down the path of the scripts college, you will find Orange trees along side the buildings. Do not try them!!!!!! Kat tried them and she gave me the most disgusted look, I laughed a lot. It was so hot out today, and the whether has been being bipolar lately. Earlier in the morning, it was around 80 degrees, and when it came around 3 it was pouring. but i love both the rain and the sunshine so it wasn’t bad at all, but I feel bad for the ladies that CURLED OR STRAIGHTENED THEIR HAIR 😦 well I am liking my stay here, even though it might look like I don’t. I have never been to cali before this trip in my life, I wish I could have a little more sight seeing or touring 😦 I also think that i focus more when I have my headphones in. Ā I thank everyone who made this program possible, and I am especially thankful for the food and knowledge that my elders are giving me.

Relaxation is key after hard work!

A college of my choice would be NYU. It has always been my dream college. To go there would be amazing. Not many people or not much of my family knows that that is my dream college. To have a relaxing break from a hard week of studying and work I would most definitely go shopping. Shopping has always been my remedy for relaxation and happiness. I have always went shopping with my mom that is probably the best thing we do together. I think that is how me and my mom bonded. At NYU they have amazing shopping centers as many people would know. Its a place away from home that I could explore. As for who reads my posts knows I love exploring know places.

Take time for yourself

In the future I plan to attend UCLA as a student and join the Recreation activities Ā and clubs offered. In my free time after studying. I would going to the gym, basketball courts, swimming, volleyball courts, tennis courts, soccer fields, and surfing lessons. You could have access to take a bunch of classes like dance and yoga. You are offered all these options and there’s always an event going on to keep you busy and some education activities or to just have time to relax and have fun.

After I graduate I will go to Manhattan College in New York City. Students on their free time go and explore the city.

Saturdays in the City include:

  1. Times Square
  2. The Metropolitan Museum of Art
  3. South Street Seaport
  4. Statue of Liberty
  5. Kayaking on the Hudson
  6. Viewing the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center
  7. Broadway shows
  8. Sporting Events

After a long week of studying I would probably go out to a cafe and drink some good iced coffee, go to a museum, or go see a broadway show. So basically what they do on their free time is what I would love to do too. ā¤ ā¤ ā¤ ā¤ ā¤
