I am here maybe because i am meant to be here.

This is the series dedicated to the guy Charlie White Dog was talking about yesterday: Carl Sagan. Its very good; take a moment to watch it.

Sorry i haven’t updated on day 4 & 5 but yeah so far its been really great. yesterday we went to NASA and got a special V.I.P. tour, “We are going where no tour has gone before!” was what Charlie, our tour guide, said. then i remember we had a college class where we had to go online and sign-up to a website called Common Application.org and fill out information to apply to colleges. the day before that we went to Western University and we had a patient panel where we were given the opportunity to ask real diabetic patients questions, “When you are learning about medicine you always learn more from the patients than any other textbook out there.”

Today we are going back to Western University i think for the last day so 😥

most fun i have had, went to NASA. we all looked at all the rover models and voyagers that are out in space. watched a little movie on the planets mercury, Venus,  earth, mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune.

And I was surprised when I got to my dorm with some beautiful material to make a shawl laid on my bed. I’m almost finished!

Can’t wait to start my first full day and go to Western!

So far my stay at Pitzer has been amazing. Not only have I learned a lot about my culture but I have also learned a lot more about myself. I came into this program knowing very little about my culture’s tradition and was kind of lost myself. Both my culture and myself go hand and hand. I plan to take these little things that I learned and incorporated them into my own personal life.

Last night I was asked what family meant to me, I understand that family is something that we keep close in our hearts, we rely on our parents to help us and guide us to our goals, we also rely on our grandparents because they know more than your parents :P, and we should love and respect our siblings cause someday they will go far maybe farther than us. So my understanding is that Family means: Father And Mother I Love You! remember that your family is very Important. <3<3<3<3<3

I wanted to get something that had a significant meaning to me..not something that i came up with in ten minutes:)
