Yesterday was really fun, thanks to Scott not only did we get to talk to a lot of the people from universal/NBC studios but we got to get a V.I.P. tour of universal studios and got to go on the rides at the theme park. It was great to get an inside look at the props and costumes people use for movies and t.v. shows. We got to see the stage set where the show ‘ParentHood’ is filmed and we got to drive by the set where ‘Desperate House Wives’ is shot and also got to see the set where ‘War of the Worlds’ (the plane crash scene) was filmed. We also saw all the different cars to are famous in different films. we also got the visit different sets where some movies are filmed like ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ ‘Gladiator’ and much ,much ,much more. It was soooo coooooool!! 😀

In Whose Honor? :American Indian Mascots In Sports
This movie really hit me. Just seeing Charlene Teters (Spokane) ,the person who the movie is documenting, work hard for our culture is really inspiring. Also today we had a work shop on making resumes and how to write an essay for applying to jobs and colleges.
today!! thursday, 28th
Today was pretty good! Last night we were playing around in Native Narnia and having a blast. Later in the day we had 2 classes. One was meeting some students from San Manuel (sorry if I spell it wrong 😦 ) and we played a game together and had a sort of writing exercise. our next class we had a guest speaker, his name was Deron Marquez, and he talked a lot about sovereignty……i was really confused, but i learned a lot at the same time :D. and now i am blogging haha.
Oh, and since the actress/director, Georgina Lighting, wasn’t able to come but is able to view our blog, i have some questions for her!
First, How did you get into the acting career ?
Second, Did you always wanted to be an actress/director?
And Third, Do you have any pets?

Western University
today we went to western university and it was really fun. we learned about podiatric doctors and other doctors as well. before we went to see human cadavers we had prayer which was really helpful. unfortunately we did not get to see them but we did go into the lab where the anatomy doctors looked at them. some of us weren’t allowed to even see the cadavers because we were under 16. it kinda sucked :P. but it was really fun. we went to the bainfield vet school right next to the building we were in. seeing all the things the vet students do, it really makes me want to keep going and try to make it to vet school 😀
Older Than America movie
I was really touched with this movie and i also learned a lot about how boarding schools were back 60+ years ago. this is a great movie, i think, for history classes covering this time in america because no one has really heard of this incident. it has a considerable impact on people ,especially native american people.
my blog
